For Saudi employers: which documents to send, what they must say, and the order of attestation.
It depends on whether the agency is recruiting for you. If you want a Pakistani agency to source the workers, you send a Demand Letter, a Power of Attorney (Wakala) and an Agency Agreement, attested first by the Chamber of Commerce and then by the Pakistani Embassy or Consulate in Saudi Arabia. If you have already selected the workers, you send the visa copy, a Wakala issued on Qiwa to the agency's licence, and the employment contract attested by the Chamber of Commerce.
The more specific the Demand Letter, the better the shortlist. "Crane operator" covers a wide range of equipment; "crawler crane, 100 tonnes" does not.
The Wakala authorises the agency to act for you in Pakistan. For processing, it is issued as a delegation on Qiwa to the agency's licence number and reflects online against the visa. Our licence number is 2621/KAR.
When attestation is needed, the Chamber of Commerce attests first and the Pakistani Embassy or Consulate in Saudi Arabia second. Documents sent in the reverse order are returned, and that usually costs a fortnight.
The employment contract attested by the Chamber of Commerce. The Saudi mission asks for it at visa stamping. Arranging it at the same time as the Wakala, rather than afterwards, usually saves a week.
We can send a Demand Letter and Power of Attorney format on request, so your team can prepare them in the form the attesting offices expect.
