Saudi Visa Processing for Workers You Have Already Selected

You have chosen the workers. We handle the Pakistani side: medical, skill test where the trade requires it, biometrics, embassy stamping and Protectorate clearance. About 2–3 weeks, or 3–4 weeks for trades that need SVP certification.

Who This Is For

When You Need an OEP, Not a Recruiter

Many Saudi employers already know who they want to hire. They need a licensed agency in Pakistan to move the file.

Every Pakistani worker going to Saudi Arabia on a work visa must be processed through a licensed Overseas Employment Promoter and registered with the Protectorate of Emigrants. That applies whether the employer recruited the worker through us, through an interview trip, or by referral from an existing employee.

This page is for the second and third cases. You have the visa and you have the names. We hold Overseas Employment Promoter Licence No. 2621/KAR and process the file from our office in Karachi.

What We Need

Three Documents Open the File

01

Visa copy

The issued visa for each worker, showing the profession it was issued under.

02

Wakala on Qiwa

The delegation issued to our licence through Qiwa. It reflects online against the visa copy.

03

Attested contract

The employment contract attested by the Chamber of Commerce. The embassy asks for it at stamping.

The attested contract is the document that most often holds up a complete file. Arranging it at the same time as the Wakala, rather than after, usually saves a week.

Sequence

How a Processing File Moves

The order is deliberate. The medical comes first so that nothing is spent on a worker who cannot travel.

  1. Medical examination (GAMCA/Wafid). Done before the Wakala. The medical centre is allocated by the Wafid system. Only workers declared fit proceed.
  2. Wakala on Qiwa. The delegation reflects online against the visa copy and the file opens.
  3. Skill Verification Programme test. Only for trades on the programme's list. Booked at a NAVTTC-authorised centre. This is the one step whose length varies most.
  4. E-number and biometrics.
  5. Embassy visa stamping. Submitted in Karachi with the attested contract. Jeewan is an authorised drop-box agency for Saudi visa submissions.
  6. Protectorate of Emigrants registration and insurance. The final clearance on the Pakistani side.
  7. Ticketing and departure. Through Air Label Travels & Tours if you want it, or arranged by you.

Timeline

About two to three weeks for trades without a Skill Verification Programme requirement, and about three to four weeks for trades with one. Where an embassy appointment or test-centre slot is going to move the date, we say so when it happens rather than at the end.

For the full background on the skill test, see our guide to the Skill Verification Programme.

Temporary Work Visas

Saudi Temporary Work Visas

Short-term visas issued through Qiwa for defined-period work.

We also process Saudi temporary work visas. The protocol is the same as for a standard work visa: medical, Wakala, skill test where required, stamping and Protectorate clearance. The E-number and the biometric procedure are the two steps that differ.

Tell us the visa type when you send the visa copy, so the file is opened on the correct route. Eligibility, quotas and validity are set by the Ministry of Human Resources and change from time to time; the employer confirms them on Qiwa when the visa is issued. Our temporary work visa guide covers the Pakistani side in more detail.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Jeewan process workers we have already selected ourselves?+
Yes. This is a processing-only file. You have chosen the workers; we take them from the medical examination through to departure. You do not need to use us for recruitment to use us for processing.
How long does processing take?+
About two to three weeks for trades that do not need Skill Verification Programme certification, and about three to four weeks for trades that do. Embassy appointment availability and test-centre slots can move either figure, and we tell you when they do.
What do you need from us to open the file?+
The visa copy, the Wakala (delegation) issued on Qiwa to our licence, and the employment contract attested by the Chamber of Commerce. The attested contract is needed at embassy stamping, so it is best arranged early.
Do you also process Saudi temporary work visas?+
Yes. The process follows the same protocol as a standard work visa. The E-number and biometric steps are handled differently, so tell us the visa type when you send the visa copy.
What happens if a worker is found medically unfit?+
We tell you as soon as the result is issued. Because the medical is done before the Wakala, you will not have spent anything on the visa side for a worker who cannot travel.
Do we have to book flights through you?+
No. Our sister company, Air Label Travels & Tours, can issue tickets and group bookings if you want it to. You are free to arrange travel yourself.
