Electricians, HVAC and refrigeration technicians, mechanical technicians and pipe fitters, assessed against Skill Verification Programme standards before submission.
Four of the five trades with which the programme commenced fall within this specialisation.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines are the categories most directly affected by Saudi Arabia's Skill Verification Programme. An inadequately assessed file in this category carries a correspondingly higher cost to the employer, because the visa does not proceed and the mobilisation restarts.
Specify the trade and headcount in the Demand Letter; specialised requirements should be stated alongside.
Assessed before submission, not after a visa has been committed.
Each skilled candidate in this category is assessed against the Skill Verification Programme standard applicable to his trade prior to submission. Assessment is conducted through NAVTTC-authorised centres; Jeewan books the appointment, presents the candidate and tracks the outcome through to certificate issue.
The effect is that a technician arriving at your facility has been assessed on two occasions: once by Jeewan during screening, and once by the Kingdom under the programme.
Where a requirement extends beyond the applicable trade standard — variable frequency drive and motor control centre experience, chiller plant rather than split-unit systems, or process piping rather than general plumbing — candidates are screened against that specification. Where a candidate approximates the requirement without fully meeting it, this is stated explicitly on the submission. Jeewan does not present partial matches as exact matches.
The Skill Verification Programme is explained in full on our Saudi Arabia page.
The standard 45-day pipeline applies, measured from receipt of an attested Demand Letter and Wakala through to arrival on site. Programme assessment is scheduled concurrently with document processing and is therefore accommodated within that period rather than added to it. Where a specific trade is subject to limited test-centre capacity, this is disclosed at quotation stage.
Send your trade breakdown, headcount and required start date. We respond within 24 hours with costs, timeline and the documentation required to open the file.
