Specialisation 04

HSE and Safety Personnel

Safety officers, permit-to-work receivers and HSE supervisors, sourced with current third-party certification already held.

Why This Category Differs

The Category With the Least Acceptable Margin

An approximate match in a safety appointment carries a consequence the other categories do not.

A permit-to-work receiver without demonstrated permit experience does not represent a training requirement to be addressed in due course; he represents an unmitigated operational risk from the day of arrival. Sourcing in this category is conducted accordingly.

Roles Within This Specialisation

The certifications you require should be stated in the Demand Letter.

Assessment

Sourced Certified, Not Trained In-House

A deliberate operating model, stated so that the boundary is unambiguous.

Jeewan sources candidates who already hold current third-party certification. Search effort is directed toward identifying personnel holding valid TUV, Bureau Veritas or equivalent qualifications together with demonstrable site history, in preference to enrolling uncertified candidates on a course and presenting them as qualified.

Screening addresses the following

Where an employer operates its own HSE induction programme and prefers to train personnel to an internal standard, Jeewan will source to your stated baseline and mobilise against that programme. This is a recognised and legitimate model adopted by a number of contractors. It is, however, a determination to be made by the employer at Demand Letter stage, and not a shortfall that Jeewan would leave undisclosed.

Mobilisation timeline

The standard 45-day pipeline applies. Certified HSE personnel represent a smaller available pool than general trades, and the sourcing phase is correspondingly longer. Where this is expected to affect the timeline, it is disclosed at quotation stage.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Jeewan certify safety officers, or supply candidates already certified?+
Jeewan sources candidates holding current third-party certification. We do not deliver training and we do not issue certificates. Where an employer prefers to train to an internal standard, Jeewan sources to the stated baseline and mobilises against that programme.
Which HSE certifications do your candidates typically hold?+
Third-party qualifications issued by TUV, Bureau Veritas and equivalent bodies, commonly in combination with fire fighting and first aid certification. Currency of certification is verified at submission, as an expired qualification presents the appearance of coverage without its substance.
Can Jeewan supply permit receivers for Aramco-contractor sites?+
Yes. Candidates holding Aramco-contractor site experience are specifically identified within this category, and that experience carries the greatest weight with Saudi principals.
